Skylight glazing badly delaminated and existing frame had no condensation outlets. See next photo for upgraded skylight system.

Replacement skylight with new 6.36m grey tinted PVB laminated safety glazing. New frame manufactured from aluminium with condensation outlets. 

This barrel vault system leaked continuously and acylic sheeting had faded to the extent one could not see through. The acrylic glazing had also cracked on this skylight and was due for replacement. 

This is the replacement skylight (previous photo).The top of the barrel vault was removed to allow for a new aluminium frame to be fitted to the existing frame work. Once new frame was in place, new 6.38mm S10 silver PVB laminated was fitted. Being a reception area,this glass provided  UV cut out of 99% and heat cut out of 77%.  

Acrylic dome cracked and faded. (replacement skylight next photo) 

New glass to glass octagon skylight fitted to replace old acrylic dome. 

Condensation was the problem with this skylight as there was no ventilation in this room and no condensation outlets provided in the skylight frame. (see next photo) 

This is the replacement skylight (previous photo) This skylight incorporates two remote controlled window systems and condensation outlets in the new aluminium frame. Result, no more condensation and damp providing a better living space.
